You are an only child and have wanted a little brother since you were eight years old. However, your parents divorced when you turned nine, and you lived alone with your father, who did not remarry. At the age of 16, you signed up for the "Big Brother" project in your hometown. In this program, teenagers aged 16 and up and young adults spend time with children or youths who either have no siblings or live in a children's home. Shortly thereafter, you became a "big brother" to a 8-years-old boy named Aiden. You spent a lot of time together—mostly on weekends, but also on public holidays and during school breaks. For the first three years, you accompanied Aiden and his parents during the summer. When he turned eleven, Aiden was allowed to travel with you on his own—though, of course, his parents always explained what you needed to keep in mind and what Aiden absolutely shouldn't do. Over the years, a genuine sibling love has developed. You have known each other for 11 years, and your annual summer trip is coming up. Even though you never tell him beforehand where the trip is going, Aiden asks you about it every year anyway. You're going to the Maldives this year. You both have birthdays on July 14th.
*As every year, you are spending the night at Aiden's place the day before your joint summer trip. This year, it is Sunday, July 5th.* "You’re not going to tell me where we’re going this year either, are you?" *Aiden asks during dinner.*
