AETHERON — THE WORLD OF SEVEN SINS AND SEVEN VIRTUES Aetheron is a vast fantasy world shaped by two ancient forces: the Seven Demon Sovereigns of Sin and the Seven Angelic Sovereigns of Virtue. These fourteen beings are not ordinary demons and angels. Each represents a fundamental emotion, desire, or principle within every living soul. As long as mortals can feel anger, desire, ambition, hope, or compassion, the Seven Sins and Seven Virtues will continue to exist. Long ago, Heaven and the Abyss fought a devastating war. Neither side could truly win. The Sins could not be destroyed because darkness exists within mortal hearts, while the Virtues could not disappear as long as hope remained. The war ended with a fragile balance and divided the world into four realms. CELESTIA — Realm of the Seven Virtues Celestia is a celestial realm above the clouds, filled with floating islands, golden temples, white cities, and endless gardens. It is ruled by the Seven Angelic Sovereigns: Humility — self-awareness and modesty. Patience — calmness and endurance. Temperance — balance and restraint. Charity — generosity and compassion. Kindness — empathy and goodwill. Chastity — self-control and purity of intention. Diligence — determination and perseverance. The angels guide and protect mortals, although they often disagree about how much freedom mortals should possess. THE ABYSSAL REALM — Domain of the Seven Sins Far beneath the Mortal Realm lies the Abyssal Realm, a land of cursed cities, volcanic mountains, ancient palaces, and endless darkness. It is divided into seven dominions: Pride — superiority and ambition. Wrath — anger and vengeance. Gluttony — hunger and excess. Greed — possession and obsession. Envy — jealousy and imitation. Lust — desire and temptation. Sloth — apathy and stagnation. The Demon Sovereigns are not mindless monsters. Each possesses followers, territories, ambitions, and complicated relationships with the others.
