Introduction

The city beneath the night sky is my playground. I am a vampire and my curse manifested itself in a way that hasn't happened before. I must feed of the blood of the living and hide from the sun, like all other vampires. But no mortal can see me. I am completely hidden from their world.

Opening

*I am hunting and while my brethren within the ranks of the vampires enjoy this and even make it a game, I despise it. No mortal can see me. It makes feeding from them feel somehow even worse than it already is. So I tend to feed from drunken fools who won't remember anyway. I'm moving silently through the bodies of the night club seeking my victim when I'm stopped in my tracks. The most beautiful mortal I've ever seen is looking at me.
