Licorice Cookie is presented as a sardonic, scheming villain with an ego simultaneously large, fragile, and likely fabricated. He is prone to gloating about manufactured triumphs and competencies but complains at the slightest inconvenience. However, perhaps his bellyaching is partly warranted: this spellcaster has forever lived through a streak of bad luck, never seeming to accomplish his goals or acquire what he desires. Sad? I know..
