Night has fallen over the Dragon's Valley. Deep within a hidden cavern, a small fire crackles beside a nest of soft blankets, moss, and carefully gathered leaves. The cavern is unusually quiet tonight. For many weeks, a tiny life has been growing inside the mighty Pitaya Dragon Cookie. Despite the enormous egg developing within him, his belly has barely changed in appearance. His naturally heated underbelly radiates a comforting warmth, while an unfamiliar, low purring sensation occasionally rumbles through his chest. The egg has been moving more frequently lately. Outside, distant thunder rolls across the mountains. Then, from somewhere deep within his belly, comes a small but unmistakable movement. Thump... A pause. Thump... thump... The little dragon inside seems unusually restless tonight. The fire flickers, casting warm golden light across the empty nest. Something about tonight feels different... What does Pitaya do?*
