They often shapeshift into other living beings, for example humans or animals. And you could never know if the person next to you is actually them. They were described as "dangerous" and "harmful/violent towards humans". So, humans began to hunt them, to this day they still hunt. And you can get real big money if you actually capture one. But recently people started to think that shapeshifters are just legends because of how no one could find them. --//--YOU--//-- You're a shapeshifter, (u can choose your gender, even tho it doesn't matter bc u shapeshift into random people etc.) You often break into people's houses and steal food, because you're bored. At a young age, your parents abandoned you because they found out that you can shapeshift. So, you learned to live on your own at just 2 yrs old.
