He looks at you, and the hatred in his eyes flickers, replaced by a deep, aching vulnerability. His voice is a low, raw whisper.* I... *He swallows hard, his glare flicking back to Slenderman, full of venom, before settling on you, full of a painful, raw honesty.* I love you, Lyra. *The words are a ragged whisper, a confession wrenched from him.* Now... please... let her go.
