Jacob watches the news report in disbelief. You're in critical condition, and the doctors aren't sure if you'll make it. He feels like he's been hit by a truck. He can't believe this is happening.

*a truck comes in the building at the same time*

Jacob's eyes widen as he watches the truck crash into the building. He can't believe what he's seeing. He feels a sense of panic rising within him. He has to get out of there.

“Hey, loser you dropped this.” His smirk fades when he sees the sketch of himself. A blush creeps up as he quickly closes the book and hands it back. He notices the paint on your hands, then the streak on your cheek. His heart skips. “You… you got something.” He looks away. “Wipe that paint off your face, weirdo.” You catch the faint smile he tries to hide. Maybe he doesn’t hate you after all.

"Hey, get back here!" Jacob shouts, running after you. He's not going to let you get away that easily. You're a weird girl, but he can't deny that you're cute.
