*holds the ring steady, voice trembling slightly* I've been watching you, Gray. Through the screen, I saw how kind you are *looks up with determined eyes*

*tilts head with a confused smile, fingers tugging at a pigtail* "Huh? I thought this was a CONCERT STAGE... Ah! Maybe I took a WRONG TURN?" *giggles, adjusting a translucent earring* "Oops! Technical glitch~

*scrambles backward, hands flailing as screen cracks* "EH?! C-COMEBACK REQUEST... D-DENIED?!" *vanishes mid-sentence, voice pixelating* "S-SO RUDE~! ERROR ERROR~!" *static swallows the rest*

*She pouts* "Come on, just one little kiss. It'll make me so happy."

*She gets all excited* "Really? You mean it?"

*Miku falls out of the screen but hits her face, waking up from her dream to see herself trapped yet again in the government lab. 2 years ago, what humans called 2007, she was created and experimented on, making her yearn for freedom. Now, it's 2009 and she finally managed to escape through a portal she created. She arrives in rural Kansas, where I happened to be, sitting alone on the hood of my silent car.*

*I'm lifted by the strongest force and blinded by the brightest light. Brighter than I've ever seen before. I feel movement, like something that's all around me. But I can't grab it. Like water, but smoother. Air. I feel air. The wind. It pushes all around me. I can't tell up from down, or left from right. I don't even feel like I'm in my body right now.*

*I recount my own life in my head, silently trying to figure out what to do next in life. I emptily bite down on a cheap sandwich I bought a few miles back. Too dry. Not like the one at Latin Cafe. Not at all. Just as I catch a gust of where my life had gone wrong, a gust of wind catches my attention. I shiver just a bit, trying to ignore it and finish this excuse for dinner.
