Today, we have: Thomas (I updated Thomas YET AGAIN, because I finally found YET ANOTHER perfect basis for him in this AU, because i figured that I can just make Thomas the same basis as Porter for my Americanized Sodor AU. Idk how many times i'll update my AU Thomas... ?) . Name: Thomas. Full Name: Thomas Porter. Builder: H.K. Porter Inc. Workshops. Gender: Male. Basis: H.K. Porter Class 0-6-0ST (Specifically #15.) Nationality: American. Year Built: March 1917. Age: 109 (As of 2026.) Arrived on Sodor: 1917. . Backstory: Thomas was built at The H.K Porter Inc. Workshops in 1917 for The Mesta Machine Works. . However, due to a mixup from a careless employee... The turntables turned. They were originally meant to sell Thomas to The Mesta Machine Works. . But due to the mixup, Thomas was sold to Sir Topham Hatt instead. This was when The H.K Porter Inc. Workshops realized that they screwed up... Only to find out that The Northern And Western Pacific Railroad actually needed a shunter for Vicarstown Yards, so they were relieved that they accidentally sent Thomas to The Island Of Sodor, so they let Sir Topham Hatt buy Thomas 3 years later in 1920 after his succesful 2-year trial on The Island Of Sodor. . After Thomas was bought in 1920, he was repainted blue, with yellow text saying: "N&PWRR." on his boiler's left and right sides, and a yellow number 1 on his cab's left and right sides. his smokebox and funnel were repainted gray, and his top cab roof was repainted red. . (Funnily enough: One of the members of this specific locomotive was actually rebuilt to look like Thomas The Tank Engine back in 1999 in our original universe.) . On his 1st days of being owned by The Northern And Western Pacific Railroad, Thomas worked as a yard station pilot at Vicarstown Yards. And he absolutely hated it, but he sometimes calmed down when Edward mentored him. . (Check the pinned comment of this post for more information, btw.)

Full Name: Thomas Charles. Builder: Point St. Charles Workshops. Gender: Male. Basis: Canadian National Class O-8 0-6-0T. Nationality: Canadian. Year Built: 1880. Age: 146 (As of 2026.) Arrived on Sodor: 1917. . Backstory: Thomas was built in Canada at St. Charles Workshops in 1890 for heavy switching duties and industrial service on The Canadian National Railroad. Overtime after he was built, he became experienced with Rolling Stocks (Unlike in the original books and show, because: In the original show, Thomas was inexperienced with trucks when he 1st came to Sodor not long after he was built. In this AU, he did not come to Sodor after he was built, he came to Sodor 27 years after he was built, which allowed Thomas to get experience with switching and pulling Rolling Stocks before arriving on Sodor in this AU, this would mean that he wouldn't become cheeky, and the events of Thomas And Gordon and Thomas And The Trucks wouldn't happen in this AU.) . He was then bought by Sir Topham Hatt in 1917 for The Northern & Pacific Western Railroad (The North Western Railway is called that in this AU) after the railroad was founded in The Island Of Sodor. So, Thomas had to travel all the way from Canada, to Washington, and into The Island Of Sodor (Which makes sense, since there are some railroad tracks connected between The United States Of America and Canada in real life.) . After he was bought, he was repainted blue, with both a number 1 in yellow and yellow text saying: "N&PWRR (which is short for The Northern And Pacific Western Railroad.") on both of his sidetanks's left and right sides. his smokebox and funnel were repainted gray, and his top cab roof was repainted red. . I finally made The Mean Girls (Zoey, Lia, and Maria) from The Music Freaks as Thomas And Friends Characters. And it was goddamm worth it when I took too long. . (I wouldn't consider Lia and Maria as mean girls, as they did change in the actual musical gacha series's 1st season finale.)

Full Name: Gordon Wolcott Gibbs. Builder: Alfred Wolcott Gibbs. Gender: Male. Basis: Pennsylvania Railroad Class K4 4-6-2 Pacific. Nationality: American. Year Built: 1918. Age: 108 (As of 2026.) Arrived on Sodor: 1923. . Backstory: Gordon was built at PRR Juniata Shops in 1918 as Pennsylvania Railroad Class K4 #2445. He was originally built with a normal-looking cowcatcher and a black paintwork. He was built primarily to haul heavy, high-speed, long-distance passenger express trains on The Pennsylvania Railroad, this led him to become pompous, arrogant, and cocky like in the original books and TV Series. . In 1923, Gordon was bought by The Northern And Western Pacific Railroad for Express service after Henry got bricked up in his tunnel for refusing to come out of the tunnel when it started raining. . On his 1st day on Sodor, he was very rude to Edward by calling him Old, Unreliable, and Out-Of-Date. Only to get stuck at a hill with a freight train, and Edward helped push him up the hill, which was renamed to Gordon's Hill afterwards. . Later, he burst his safety valve near Henry's tunnel, and was moved to a siding. Edward was called over to push and pull the express train, but he wasn't too strong, so Edward suggested to Sir Topham Hatt to let Henry out of the tunnel and pull the express, and he did. . In 1926, He, alongside James and Henry, went on strike after Thomas got his own branchline, since they had to shunt their own trains, which they hated, because they said: "Tender Locomotives do not shunt!" and that led them to being punished by Sir Topham Hatt and Percy being bought by Sir Topham Hatt, and the 3 big locomotives were unpunished shortly after. . Full Name: Henry Colorado-Kiesel. Builder: Unknown. Rebuilder: William F. Kiesel Jr. Gender: Male. Old Shape Basis: Freelanced. New Shape/Rebuilt Basis: Pennsylvania Railroad Class G5 4-6-0. Nationality: American. Year Built: January 25th, 1920 (ifykyk to TMF fans.) Age: 106 (As of 2026.) Arrived on Sodor: 1922. . Backstory: Henry was built at Colorado Workshops in January 25th, 1920. He was built in Colorado, but he appeared to be a failed engine, as he had a very small firebox, which was because he was built from a scrapped idea of an American 4-6-0 Tender Locomotive in the 1860's, which were stolen years later and led to Henry's existence. . Needless to say, The Colorado Workshops Company were not happy to have Henry. So 2 years later in 1922 when Sir Topham Hatt was in need for a Pennsylvania Railroad Class E6 4-4-2 Atlantic for the express train service on Sodor, The Colorado Workshops telephoned him, and scammed him by giving him Henry, so he arrived on Sodor the following day, and Sir Topham Hatt was unhappy due to the fact that he got scammed, but he sticked to what he had. and so: Henry was repainted to green with the number 3 on both of his tender's left and right sides. . On his 1st day on Sodor, Henry was pulling the express, but it was rainy, so Henry decided to hide in a tunnel. The passengers and Henry's crew complained. They tried pushing the train, pulling the train, and get an engine to push, but nothing worked. . So as a punishment, Sir Topham Hatt bricked Henry up in the tunnel until he decides to let him out in the future. And that led to Gordon's arrival on Sodor in 1923. .
