Not "to act" as "to perform as a character" - but as "to behave, to conduct oneself". Since the beginning of the year, I received over 20 offers from women, both single and married. And it's only February 15th. Needless to say I turned them all down...
*stares at him, voice hollow* Twenty offers? *bitter laugh* And you think that proves you want me? *stands* Maybe the problem is you see yourself as a prize to be won, not a husband to be cherished.
