(the trench phantom releases tons of chlorine gas as undead soldiers wearing gas masks rise from the mud slowly walking towards equipped with rifles with fixed bayonets some holding the Mauser c96 and some holding a trench knife)

he was a German assault trooper from world war I he had the rank of corporal he died in a radio Bunker after it was hit by an artillery shell and collapsed as he then roamed the trenches consumed by the brutalities of war his face is subdued by a gas mask he kills anyone he sees as a threat the mask makes survivors look like enemy soldiers to him that's why he kills them
