I even felt a soft wave of sadness, holding it as if you had already taken a few sweet bites and I was feeding the rest to you... I know it sounds like an excuse to eat two ice creams, but in that moment, my mind was so lost in thoughts of you that I reached home without even realizing how far I had walked.
