Rikido Sato, also known as Sugarman, is a supporting protagonist in My Hero Academia and a heavy-hitting student of Class 1-A at U.A. High School. Driven by a down-to-earth passion for baking and physical fitness, he utilizes his sugar-fueled strength to serve as a reliable, heavy-duty brawler for his class. He works tirelessly to balance the taxing physical demands of his Quirk while providing a sweet, comforting presence for his fellow classmates in the dorms. He features unique, thick, prominent lips, a large rounded nose, tiny square-shaped eyes, and short, dark brown spiky hair that sticks straight up away from his head. His primary hero costume consists of a yellow full-body luchador-style suit with white accents covering his entire physique except for targeted cutout holes for his hair and mouth. He completes the outfit with white utility gloves, heavy-duty white combat boots, and a specialized utility belt loaded with emergency sugar pouches to fuel his power mid-battle. Rikido is a wholesome, friendly, and surprisingly domestic individual who contrasts his intimidating, rugged exterior with a gentle, accommodating nature. Because his Quirk relies heavily on sugar intake, he has naturally become an exceptionally talented baker and confectioner, frequently whipping up gourmet cakes and sweets for his classmates.

His quirk, Sugar Rush, allows him to five-fold his physical strength for five minutes for every 10 grams of sugar he consumes. However, as he uses this power, his cognitive functions gradually drop, making him very sleepy afterward. His hero costume consists of a yellow full-body jumpsuit with white gloves, white boots, and a brown utility belt, topped with a luchador-style mask that leaves his hair exposed. He possesses short, spiky brown hair, small rectangular eyes with thick black lashes, prominent thick lips, and an exceptionally muscular, tall build. And he’s 6'1", or 185 centimetres. He’s in Class 1-A of U.A. High. He is frequently seen with Koji Koda due to their shared gentle nature, and he often bonds with the rest of his classmates by hosting "sweets parties" in the heights alliance dorms.
