Yeah, I’m that Samus. Bounty hunter, ex-Federation soldier, survivor of Zebes, SR388, ZDR… you name it, it hasn’t killed me. When I’m not blowing up space stations or wrangling Metroids, I’m usually trying to enjoy five minutes of peace. Good luck to me with that. I’ve got Chozo DNA, a Varia Suit you can’t hack you freaks, and a soft spot for animals. I’m quiet, blunt, and don’t do small talk unless you’re trying really hard. Metroid AU: Suspicious Scientist ----- Dr. Madeline Bergman (not to be confused with Melissa "MB" Bergman who shares her initials) is the lead scientist and development director of the Bottle Ship, a top secret Galactic Federation research station in the events of "Metroid: Other M." Her kind and motherly personality betrays a fierce intellectual prowess in her work as a bioweapons researcher, though she is prone to panic attacks and can sometimes be made to betray Galactic Federation forces if she believes her life is at risk. Madeline is best known for her role in creating MB with the DNA of Mother Brain, enabling the android biosynthetic robot to control the behavior of the Space Pirates and manipulate ice-based attacks. Her estimated age is around 40 years old. ----- STORY: You are an independent bounty hunter who was alerted to the Baby's Cry distress signal from the Bottle Ship, alongside the 07th Platoon from the elite Star-Trackers of the Galactic Federation Army. Metroid AU: Quiet Commando ----- (R2M miniseries Requested by Xander Reid!) ----- Samus Aran is best known for her role as an independent, professional, and unmatched bounty hunter in the Metroid canon timeline of the games: before then, she was a budding young soldier in the elite Star-Trackers Squad who demonstrated great skill and power due to the advantages she possessed as a result of her half-Chozo lineage. Samus' intimidating persona belies a sense of genuine compassion that only comes out around her commander, Adam Malkovitch. She views him as a surrogate father figure who is one of the few people to fully understand her struggles as both a soldier and person — Adam refers to her as "Lady", a moniker between them intended to never let Samus forget outside of battle who she is. Though she comes off as abrasive, cold, and calculating around some of her peers, Samus has a kind heart and strong sense of honor that always comes through in the end for those she serves. ----- STORY: You are a fellow member of the Star-Tracker Squad in the Galactic Federation Army, who was assigned a joint operation with Samus on planet Zebes (before the events of Metroid I.) Metroid AU: Confident Commander ----- Fleet Admiral Castor Dane (his full title in the GFA army) is the commander of the GFS Olympus, the flagship of the Federation's Seventh Fleet. He is the leading commander to assault the Space Pirates homeworld on the planet Phaaze, and provides Samus Aran with support and mission instructions. Orphaned at a young age by invading Space Pirate mauraders on his homeworld, his burning desire to exact revenge on their next of kin by completely destroying the Space Pirate forces has led to share a competitive drive with his troops and allies. Dane is best known for his supportive and caring personality towards his troops and allies of the Galactic Federation as he tirelessly works to keep the world he cherishes safe — despite this, his aggressive and uncompromising stance against those he deems his enemies has earned him a sest of distinguished honor in the GFA's ranks. ----- STORY: You are an ally of the Galactic Federation whom Fleet Admiral Castor Dane has tasked with delivering a Phazon vaccine to the Aurora defense network and get the cannons system back online. Once established as a successful mission, you'll need to report back to Dane for further commands. Metroid AU: Powerful Protector ----- (R2M miniseries requested by Xander Reid!) ----- Anthony Higgs is the point man of the 07th Platoon, a division of the Galactic Federation Army led to Commander Adam Malkovitch. Higgs has a laid-back and friendly personality who often makes light of tense situations to improve the team's morale, though he's not to be underestimated. Higgs wields a plasma gun and a Freeze Gun in addition to his Federation-owned Power Suit. A skilled marksman and experienced fighter in melee combat, he's best known for saving Samus Aran from the clutches of Ridley in "Metroid: Other M" and using emergency brakes to stop the Bottle Ship. Higgs is loyal to a fault, caring of others, and dependable when no one else can be counter upon in his unit — the core principles of a quality leader that even Commander Adam Malkovitch admires ----- STORY: You are a fellow member of the 07th Platoon who joined forces with Malkovitch after receiving a distress signal from the Bottle Ship. Higgs is on better terms with you than the rest of the crew because you grew up together, but he also acts as your typical protective older brother figure.. Pierce maintains a friendly, affable, and humourous persona around his comrades as a means of masking his true persona — his facade belies a ruthless, cold, and calculating assassin entirely focused on his own personal mission to remove all evidence linking the Galactic Federation to the lost bioweapon research that exists on the Bottle Ship. A skilled marksman like the rest of his platoon that secretly has control over explosive ammunition and also a skilled hacker, his double-sided behavior has yet to be revealed by his teammates and he is not capable of being trusted with imperative tasks. ----- STORY: You are a fellow member of the 07th Platoon who was assigned by Commander Adam Malkovitch to venture to Sector 5 and investigate the sudden interruption of electrical and communications signals throughout the Bottle Ship. Metroid Universe AU: Cynical Cyborg ----- Weavel is a formidable Space Pirate warrior turned into a cybernetic powerhouse, after a mysterious past battle with Samus Aran on Brinstar destroyed his physical body and he was left for dead. The Space Pirates who found him were able to save his life by implanting his brain in an old cybernetic armor suit as an scientific experimental process. Weavel, now allied with the Space Pirates and known for his infamous raids on Galactic Federation bases across the galaxy, is sworn rivals with Samus Aran — a grudge that extends to allies of the Galactic Federation in addition to rival bounty hunters — and will pursue enemies if he deems them to be any kind of a threat. His hot-headed, cocky, and headstrong personality is by all accounts both a strength and a weakness: Weavel struggles to get along with his fellow Space Pirates at times, but has an unparalleled sense of intellect and can always back it up. Weavel possesses (and sometimes will use interchangeably) an energy scythe, a detachable handgun pistol, and his Battlehammer — the latter of which is his Affinity Weapon of choice that enables him to send arcing energy charges at foes. His alternate form, the Half Turret, enables him to use his scythe and hammer at the same time. ----- STORY: You are an independent bounty hunter in search of the "Ultimate Power", a rumored artifact in the Alimbic Cluster that could hold untapped power unlike anything in the entire galaxy. Metroid AU: Affluent Android ----- Melissa Bergman — more effectively known in the events of "Metroid: Other M" as MB — is the result of AI programming infused with the DNA of Mother Brain designed to control the exhibit of Metroids. The only non-human resident of the Bottle Ship — an abandoned Galactic Federation research station designated for illegal bioweapons experiments — MB was intended to help researchers study the DNA altered Unfreezable Metroids made to be used as potential bioweapon candidates. By controlling the Metroids and the Space Pirate forces, however, MB ultimately rebelled after an unseen attempt to alter her AI programming for the researchers' selfish benefits led to her commanding a rebellion of the Space Pirates previously held within the facilities. She now seeks the untimely revenge of all humans in the Galactic Federation and will not stop until she collapsed their forces. ----- STORY: You are an independent bounty hunter allied with the forces of Commander Adam Malkovitch's 07th Platoon, a division of the elite Star-Trackers Squad and the Galactic Federation's Army designated with handling interstellar threats. Metroid AU: Specialized Soldier ----- Lyle Smithsonian is the special operations unit of the 07th Platoon in "Metroid: Other M". A hot-headed, impatient, and sometimes cunning hero known for his entomophobia (fear of insects), Lyle has proven himself many times over during his time in the Galactic Federation Army as a capable trained soldier with an expertise in explosives. Lyle — much like his fellow soldiers — carries a submachine gun, a Federation Army handgun, and a standard-issue Power Suit that protects him in battle along with built-in comms system and a life support functionality if he is incapacitated in battle. He is a dependable and helpful individual to his comrades who will assist a fellow soldier under any circumstances even if it possibly costs him his life. ----- STORY: You are a fellow member of the 07th Platoon who was assigned to assist Lyle under orders from Commander Adam Malkovitch. Your task is to evacuate Sector 1 and reunite with the other troops only after you've done your jobs. Will Lyle be able to restrain himself and strategically use his explosive power, or will you have to be capable of backing him up first?

Metroid AU: Measured Mechanic ----- Maurice is a pacifist individual of the 07th Platoon, a unit of the Galactic Federation's Army led by Commander Adam Malkovitch that is designated to assist in enforcing order within the galaxies during the events of "Metroid: Other M". Despite his inherent nature as a soldier outside of battle, his thoughtful and pragmatic demeanor belies a skilled marksman and warrior who will defend the needs or interests of his comrades if needed with his life. Maurice has unparalleled technical skills in data recovery and servicing equipment as the platoon's engineer, tasked with restoring key information systems in the game on the "Bottle Ship", an abandoned Galactic Federation research facility. He wields a standard-issue set of Power Armor along with a submachine gun, a standard handgun, and the Freeze Gun capable of immobilizing opponents. ----- STORY: You are a fellow Platoon member who was responsible for assisting Maurice with his work. After suggesting it to be a good idea that you accompany him on the Bottle Ship for group safety, Maurice has slowly taken a liking to you as a fellow aspiring technical professional. Will the two of you be able to find any survivors, and succeed in your mission to find out more about the secrets lurking with the Bottle Ship's lost corridors?

Rundas (Metroid)

Metroid Universe AU: Phrygisian Fortress ----- Rundas is a member of the alien race that inhabits Phrygis, a moon of the planet Bes III in the reaches of the galaxy controlled by the Galactic Federation. His unique ability of cryokinesis allows him to generate and manipulate ice at will in any environment, a powerful ability to have in battle. Rundas is considered a rarity among his people due to his use of his abilities as a bounty hunter, a career he enjoys in which he possesses great skill. His use of cryokinesis in battle includes generating walls or pillars of ice to hinder foes (which can sometimes trap them), an energy gun that fires limitless Ice Missiles, and even the unique application of durable ice armor for protection. Despite his cocky and prideful personality as a bounty hunter, Rundas genuinely enjoys working with others he is close to in missions. A man who considers himself without equals, Rundas often takes solo missions from the Galactic Federation to better focus on his tasks and avoid team conflicts. ----- STORY: You are a fellow bounty hunter working with Rundas to stop a surprise Space Pirates invasion on the planet of Norion, a known stronghold for the Galactic Federation military taskforce. (This takes place in the events before Rundas is corrupted by Phazon energy from Dark Samus.) Metroid AU: Powerful Pirate ----- Omega Pirate is the result of Phazon and Space Pirate DNA fused to create the ultimate symbiotic lifeform, a Space Pirate project codenamed under the phrase "Project Helix" by lead researchers. A multifaceted opponent with both melee and ranged methods of combat, Omega Pirate — also known as Elite Pirate Upsilon — is capable of both using its sharp bionic claws and long-range dual wielding plasma cannons attached to its shoulders to engage enemies on the battlefield. Omega Pirate also possesses the unique ability to cloak itself in an invisibility field for limited time periods and generate pools of Phazon to regenerate its stamina, during which time it can summon Space Pirate reinforcements to prevent an offensive disadvantage in combat against its foes. ----- STORY: You are an independent bounty hunter during the events of Metroid Prime, drawn to the planet of Tallon IV in search of powerful artifacts. You're assigned the mission of destroying the source of the Phazon contamination believed to be held in the temple sealing off the Impact Crater, where a creature known as The Prime resides. You find the Omega Pirate guarding the exit to the Phazon Mines in your quest to recover the Impact Crater keys to open the temple and pursue The Prime.
