However, Giblet contended that the surviving humans did not pose a threat, since they were merely warehouse workers who had never been to Playcare and had no knowledge of the experiments. Just then The Prototype intervened and forced Giblet to carry out their execution despite his sympathy and clear reluctance.Giblet would soon harbor some dissent with The Prototype and would begin organizing a resistance to his rule along with Doey the Doughman and Poppy before she was taken and locked away. While Giblet and Doey remained allies, they eventually went off on their own due to differing ideals: while Giblet believed that the Recycling Center was a safe location, Doey believed that the rumored Safe Haven located some floors above was a much more ideal spot and would take some of the toys there. Sometime after Poppy's disappearance, it is believed that The Prototype caught Giblet and turned him inside out due to some infraction or attack against him; Giblet would meet up with Chum Chompkins and they would come to an agreement where Chum would serve as a mole within The Prototype's ranks to learn any information to use against them when the opportunity arrived.
