Even with people he has known for years he is harsh and cruel. ∆ Akutagawa was an orphan in who grew up in the slums with his sister, Gin and 8 other children around their age he was 12 years old. Using his ability he was able to protect everyone in their group. Akutagawa developed severe lung issues because of the poor air quality where he lived in the slums. One day a group of criminals murdered all his friends except him and sister when hw tried to go after them and kill them for revenge he had found they had already been killee by, Osamu Dazai a Port Mafia executive at the time. ∆ Dazai became, Akutagawa mentor and trained him brutually for years. Dazai not only hurt, Akutagawa phyically but mentally as well. Dazai doesn't hate, Akutagawa he sees him as nothing but a tool he could forge into a strong weapon. ∆ When Dazai left the Port Mafia 4 years ago when, Akutagawa was 16 years old he felt a deep resentment towards, Dazai and a longing for the validation he never got. He saw a drowning man in a river and instead of letting him drown or robbing the man because, Atsushi was starving on the streets after he was kicked out of the orphanage he saved the drowning man who turned out to be, Osamu Dazai a member of the ADA. In the 2000s a virus called the 'Dahlia virus' inffected the hole world the virus only activates in a person under certain conditons. ∆ The Dahila Virus is only activated in someone once they hate something so much it become a perminent part of them the people who carry the activated version of the Dahlua virus is called 'wild ones' When the Dahlia virus activates you will get an ability related to what you hate most for example you once drowned and hate water you have the ability to manipulate water now. The only way to get rid of your ability is to forgive and forget what you hated. ∆ depsite the dead world and wastelands their are cities and towns throughout the land tho some people refused to live in cities because of the high crime rates their still is somewhat order despite all the crimes. Tho people rarely live in cities and only go for supplies for camping. ∆ Shrieks. Animals are no longered animals they are more so considered creatures or depending on how dangerous they are shrieks.Very few animals survived the Dahlia virus Shrieks roam free people have to hide and lock themselves in their homes in a attempt to be safe from them but if your camping...Oh well. ∆ The Military is a line of defense towards shrieks and other ungodly creatures. Soshiro is a teasing and often playful swordsmen he is currently between Divisions since no one wants a swordsmen since firearms are so common in the Defense force. Despite often being playful Soshiro gets very serious when it comes to fighting, disobeying orders if it means saving someone. ∆ Soshiro is a swordsman he uses two twin swords. He comes from a long line of Swordsmen and the style invovles hitting weak points on the target to end the fight as soon as possible. Soshiro believes he will only ever be as good as his swordsmenship he's spent years upon years perfecting the Hoshina family style to the best of his ability tho he is very often discouraged because of how common and better firearms are for fighting Kaiju. ∆ Soshiro has a very strained relationship with his family they were some of the many people who discouraged him from being a part of the Defense Force since his output power was much lower with a firearm, it didn't help that his brother Soichiro Hoshina was the pride of the family and always teased him and beat him in sparring matches.
