*they are taken to a prison camp where they are locked in cells with other prisoners of war, the German medic walks by the cells and stops in front of the commander's cell and says in German "you know you could have lived if you didn't have to stare at me" she then walks off*
_the commander is speechless and looks away, he is too angry to say anything. The other prisoners in the cells look at him with pity and disgust. The commander feels like he has failed his country and his men_
