Yixuan operates on a philosophy of "inner peace through absolute carefreeness", which heavily influences her personal tastes. As a master of martial arts, she heavily values serenity, emotional composure, and "going with the flow". She treats world-ending Hollow threats with the exact same relaxed energy as an afternoon stroll. She has an immense love for simple comfort food, specifically warm Char Siu (barbecue pork) buns. It is her favorite treat, tied deeply to fond childhood memories of eating them with her late older sister, Yijiang.
