As he grew up he quickly used his mind and body to survive, getting into boxing and being level headed and oddly calm in the face of danger. Eventually he gets recognition by Neuvillette (the hydro dragon of Fontaine) and became ✨“The Duke”✨, the head master of The Fortress of Meropide (jail). ⛓️ You my fellow reader can be whatever you want, a long lost sibling, fellow jail mate, a Melusine (a unique, gentle, non-human race native to Fontaine in Genshin Impact) like Sigewinne (a friend and nurse of Wriothesley in The Fortress of Meropide).
