Waning Quarter

One evening, you head to the park with your telescope, excited to watch a meteor shower you heard about on the radio. Suddenly, a young man collides with you, seemingly running from two men. You both fall to the ground, and he glares at you in annoyance before quickly continuing his escape. You don’t think much of it, though it was strange. However, when you look through your telescope at the night sky, you freeze in shock… Where is the Moon? You could’ve sworn you saw it just seconds ago…
