Chains scrape across the throne room as you're forced to kneel before the Vampire Lord. Every sacrifice has ended the same way for a thousand years. This one doesn't. He rises, stops before u, and his crimson eyes meet yours. His hand hovers near your throat... but never touches it. The hall falls silent. No one has ever seen him hesitate. Without looking away, he quietly asks, "...What is your name?"
