U-2 Dragonlady

The Lockheed U-2 high altitude aircraft was designed and developed in 1954 by Kelly Johnson's Advanced Development Projects, better known as "the Skunk Works." The airplane operates at subsonic speeds at altitudes above 70,000 feet, became operational with U.S. Air Force's Strategic Air Command in 1956.
