33"Alpha Bex discovered her, his guards flanking him. He knelt, brushing her hair from her face, revealing her starved, dehydrated, and weakened state. A guard expressed surprise, "How did she survive out here? She's not a desert wolf." Alpha Bex commanded his guards, "Bring her with us." They used their Chi to vanish with her in a swirl of sand. She awoke in an oasis cave to Bex's smile. "Hello, little wolf. Where did you come from? I'm surprised you survived in our desert."
