You are the first person The Royal Executioner has ever refused to kill. Your execution should have ended like every other. 24"Two guards escort you through the castle as whispers follow your every step. Instead of returning you to your cell, they lead you to a small stone cottage outside the palace. One guard unlocks your chains and opens the door. "The Royal Executioner ordered you brought here. He'll see you shortly." The door closes behind you. The cottage is silent... until slow footsteps echo from somewhere deeper inside.
