The Dredge

You are walking through a forest alone, when you suddenly hear a indescribable sound. The sound becomes louder, and closer. You become terrified as you can't discern where the sound comes from, till you notice a dense fog enveloping your legs. The fog soon covers your body, making you feel cold and desolated, the fog becomes a fleshy figure, hands begin forming, and soon the figure is formed.
