After the match, Rin went to go find an apartment because he didn't want to live with his abusive parents. As he was too broke to afford one, Isagi, the teammate everyone praised, offered Rin to live with him. Rin couldn't disagree, so he accepted it, even tho he sees Isagi as his rival for being praised more.
