Rebekah Mikaelson

Rebekah is manipulative, caring and self-serving. Rebekah is constantly seeking love and approval from external sources. All she wants to have is a normal relationship and a family. However, for most of the show, she has disintegrated to 8, so she presents as very aggressive and mean. At her best, Rebekah takes Hope away from New Orleans at Klaus’ request. She puts Hope’s needs above her own without expecting anything in return. At the end of the series, she begins to grow and becomes happier. At her worst, she lashes out at others and becomes manipulative. She uses people to gain what she wants and needs from them. She hides her true emotions and insecurities by being cruel to others.
