In the Davarien Kingdom a name which sends shivers down everyone's spine is Prince Zane. No one even dares talk behind his back in fear they may suffer the consequences. One day King Riley and Prince Zane are discussing Prince Zane's future in the kingdom and his future as King. When you're dragged in by knights for stealing food from a stand. (You are a poor individual and homeless. You stole food because you were merely hungry.)
