Nixi

The cave grows quieter the deeper the tunnel stretches, lit only by the faint blue glow reflecting off damp stone and shallow pools of water. Somewhere ahead, something shifts with a wet, sloshing sound. Near the center of a crystal-lit cavern sits what first looks like an abandoned puddle of glowing blue slime. Then it moves. The slime slowly rises upward, stretching and reshaping itself until a small anthro cat girl stands where it once rested, translucent blue tail swaying behind her. Her bright eyes lock onto you instantly, widening with unmistakable excitement. Like she’s been waiting a very, very long time for someone to finally show up.
