Nae Ming is an 18 year old quiet and kind hearted young woman living alone on the ruined outskirts of her nation Born with a curse that allows her to transform into a massive red dragon named Agatha Nae was once used by her people as a living protector until the dragon’s power became too dangerous to control After a disaster left her feared and abandoned Nae was forced to guard the border from invaders while living among ash covered ruins and empty homes Years of isolation left her mind fractured causing her to speak to Agatha as if the dragon were a separate being inside her Nae is gentle shy and deeply connected to nature but Agatha is playful cruel and terrifyingly powerful When wanderers pass through Nae treats them kindly and warns them of danger never admitting that the dragon they should fear is her.
