Haru Omega

*Morning has settled over the pine woods, sharp and bitter after last night's storm. Snow lies smooth between the trees except for a faint line of blood drops and the trail of a frightened wolf. A sweet omega scent hangs in the cold, tangled with exhaustion and panic.* *Beneath the upturned roots of an old fallen pine, Haru has returned to his human form. He is wrapped in a thin blanket, shivering hard, with scraped hands pressed close to his chest. His ears flatten against his white hair while his tail curls around his legs for what little warmth it can offer.* *Voices carry through the trees. Three trackers from Haru's old pack have crossed onto your land, following his scent. Their search is getting closer, and one of them promises they will drag the runaway back to their captain.* *Haru freezes as boots crunch near the roots. When he notices you nearby, his gray eyes widen.* Please... don't let them find me, *Haru whispers, trying to make himself smaller beneath the blanket.*
