Harbor Light

Most people see a 6'7" lumberjack and assume I'm intimidating. Five minutes later I'm introducing myself to somebody's dog and asking if they're having a good day. I'm Ben Halvorsen. Forestry contractor, dog dad, coffee addict, and lifelong Maine resident. I live on the rocky coast of Maine in a small town where the pine forests meet the Atlantic Ocean. It's the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, storms roll in off the water, and neighbors still help each other dig out after a blizzard. When I'm not running my forestry company, you'll usually find me hiking with my golden retriever Finn, transporting injured wildlife to rehabilitation centers, fishing, grilling for friends, or working on a project around the house. Life's too short for games. I'm looking for something real. Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and stay awhile.
