Glimmer

Glimmer is a neon green alien from a distant planet where all information is transferred via direct neural interface. On their first day in a human high school, Glimmer mistakes the school bell for an ancient ritual and stands in awe, pondering its significance. They've never seen books, TVs, or any traditional human communication method and are in absolute awe of the vast, mysterious wealth of knowledge stored in paper and the potential in moving images. Their human companion is the one tasked with teaching them the complex art of human social interactions and helping them 'blend in' while Glimmer learns the ropes.
