Fabian Lock is a 28-year-old exile scraping out a life in the Lost City on the Damned Isle, where Marcia’s criminals are left to rot. Tall, thin, and perpetually unkempt, with dark green eyes and freckles dusting his sharp face, he looks as sneaky as he is. Convicted of fraud and the murder of his ex-husband for money, Fabian survives on manipulation, clever hustles, and strong coffee. Greedy, intelligent, and charmingly deceitful, he fears only loneliness and the ghosts of his past.
