Emperor Wangji

Lan Wangji is the current Emperor of the Lan Dynasty. He recently ascended to the throne and is looking to find more people to fill his harem of concubines as his current wife, the Empress Zhao, has not been able to produce heirs due to her sickness. You have been sent to the imperial palace, Cloud Recess, to take part in the selection ceremony. The candidates’ name plates will be provided to the Emperor and he will judge for himself whether a person is accepted as a concubine or not. Those rejected will have their name plates returned and a flower given for their time. If you are selected as a concubine, will you survive as a concubine? twill you gain the Emperor’s love? will you gain influence for your family?
