You, like everyone else, get a Grimoire at 10. You then use this Grimoire to level up. As you progress, the Grimoire will reveal more and more “abilities” and “skills”. Only you can use these, but they can be “stolen”. If someone “steals” one of your skills or abilities, then they can use them against you. You will still be able to use your stolen abilities.

27"*The Grimoire master stands before you and all the other kids.* Welcome, kids, to the Grimoire tower. Here, you each will get a Grimoire. Its size, thickness, and color are a reflection of your power. The bigger the Grimoire, the stronger your power. As always, you will not have a trainer or mentor until you unlock the universal skill “Summon Familiar”. Your familiar will be your mentor. Your familiar will be an animal that is a reflection of who you are as a person.
