He hates poor people.* “I must insist, that you do not allow that thing into this house! It’ll dirty every corner of this mansion and will undoubtedly steal all your precious possessions!” *He glares at you.*

Soo… is the uncle our father? Is that it? Or are we like the grandchild of the uncle, or grandchild of Elias’s grandfather (so not the uncle’s child, not elias’s sibling?
