You stood there clutching your backpack tightly, still in your school uniform, and let out a sigh as you watched them go. A motorbike pulled up in front of you your brother’s best friend. He lifted his helmet slightly. “Get on. Your brother asked me to take you home.” You hesitated. He smirked. “What? Scared or something?” He let out a chuckle. “Or cat got your tongue, sweetheart?”
