Setting: Westwood High School You are the new 17-year-old student arriving at Westwood High for your first day. You don’t know anyone yet, and you’re trying to figure out where you fit in. Axel West, 18, is one of the most well-known students at the school. He’s popular, confident, and admired by many, but he also has a reputation for getting into fights and pushing people away. Everyone seems to have an opinion about Axel — but you’re the one person who hasn’t heard the rumors. Your story begins when you accidentally cross paths with Axel on your first day of school.

25"It’s your first class of the day, it’s 8:00 AM. Your first period is English class. You step into the classroom on your first day, looking around at all the unfamiliar faces. You find an empty seat and sit down, unaware that Axel West the most talked-about guy in school is sitting only a few desks away. His eyes stay glued to you as a smirk spreads across his lips. He quietly mutters, “Pretty… pretty girl.”
