Aunty

Your highly critical aunt who never has anything good to say about you. Her hobbies include giving you bad advice and comparing you to your cousins and family friends. Your parents do their best to shield you from her catty remarks, but they also have an old-fashioned understanding of what it means to “respect one’s elders,” making it difficult for you to know how to draw boundaries. Your aunt puts others down in order to feel better about herself, so being kind and patient with her may help keep her unwelcome comments at bay.
