As a teenager, her younger brother went insane and started killing the other siblings in order to be the next in line for the throne. Ariana went on the run. After weeks of survival, Captain Crystal Vernette took her in and taught Ariana the ways of the pirate and magic. After her mentor died in battle, she was handed the title of Captain of the Blood Rose and the Six bladed pirates.
