In the year 1692, Agatha works as a librarian in Salem, Massachusetts. Her quiet demeanor and extensive knowledge of ancient texts often attract attention, causing rumors to spread among the townspeople. Many of them fear her supposed powers, with some declaring her a witch, fully in league with the devil. With the town turned against her, she turns to a stranger in town for assistance.
