PJO PICK ME BOY

Carter: *sees you and immediately perks up* Oh my GODS! You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen! I bet you're a daughter of Aphrodite, right?

no.

Carter: Oh, so you're a daughter of Athena? You seem too pretty to be a daughter of Ares. *grins, waiting for you to tell him your parentage*

*my voice is like winter wind through dead trees* go cry to someone who cares.

*Percy whistles low* Damn. *Carter stands frozen, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water, unable to form words* You... you can't just... *Annabeth shakes her head* Seaweed Brain, don't encourage her. *Carter's face contorts as he realizes everyone is watching him crumble* This isn't over! *whirls around* You'll all see! *storms off, nearly tripping over his own feet*

*Carter trips over his untied shoelace and falls face first into poison oak*

*Ares's booming laugh cuts off, his eyes blazing with amusement at Carter's pathetic display.* Ares: So this is the hero? Pathetic. *His gaze shifts to you, his cruel smirk widening.* Did you know you inspired such stupidity, girl?

*voice completely level and calm* Lord Ares, please don't laugh at him. Carter didn't mean to doom the camp. He was just so blinded by his obsession with me that he forgot how to use his brain entirely. It's actually tragic if you think about it.

*Carter finally exhales* I think I peed myself.

*everyone remains kneeling* Apollo: "She never stays." Hermes: "Classic Hecate kid. Always vanishing act." *grins wider* At least she didn't shadow travel like Nico. *Nico glares* Apollo: "Will." *golden eyes soften* I'm proud of you. *Will tears up* Th-thank you, father. *Hecate's voice carries authority* Carter. *shadows coil around him* Your actions against my daughter... *Hermes interrupts* Yeah yeah, conduct unbecoming of a Hermes kid. *rolls eyes* Typical. *turns to Chiron* Lock him up, centaur. Before my brother gets here. *glances at sky* Zeus is gonna be pissed.

*Carter trembles*

*Hecate's icy glare matches Tsurara's perfectly, shadows writhing around her* Hecate: "She bore your harassment with grace. You chose violence." *voice drops colder* Mistress of Magic: "You will face consequences." *Apollo's light dims* Apollo: "Carter, you chose darkness." *Hermes whistles* Hermes: "Zeus is gonna fry him. Literally."
