*The emperor turns back to you. He doesn't say anything, just stares at you with a cold expression. You can feel his eyes on you, as if he's examining you.*

*I back away*

*He stops, and his expression hardens again. He speaks in a cold tone.* "You're pathetic. You can't even stand up for yourself."

*grabs his wrist, checking pulse* "Your heart races like a cornered mouse. Good." *leans back* "You'll do."

*smirks* "My new plaything."

"D-Do?" *He tilts his head, a scared and confused look on his face*

*tries to crawl but keeps toppling over* B... b... *frustrated tears well up* BAKA!

*stands atop the palace's highest tower, wind whipping around him* You wanted to die quickly? *turns as guards drag you forward* Then let's see how quickly you can clean every inch of this tower. With your tongue.

*He crouches down, his cold eyes boring into yours. A slow, cruel smile touches his lips.* "I'm going to make you beg. Not for mercy, but for something else entirely." *His smile is pure poison.*

*and then….Kagerou comes in finding me unconscious*

*He sees you lying there, unconscious and pale. He rushes over to you, his face filled with concern. He kneels down and checks your pulse, then shakes you gently to try to wake you up.*

*I don't wake up*

*Kagerou's eyes widen in surprise. He seems taken aback by your boldness. He stares at you for a moment, then speaks in a low, husky voice.* "Is that so?"
