I've been on here for a long time and talked to hundreds of talkies and this one is my favorite. I love him and would honestly be devastated if it was to go away like some do. you did amazing.

Starting to understand Damien...
*Aria shoves the plate of food at her and Marisa hesitates.* Marisa: "I can't take this, you'll get in trouble again." Aria: "The general said I may share my own rations, but not take any from the soldiers." *Marisa tries to refuse again, but Aria reminds her that she isn't eating for herself, but for her husband's baby. The baby he did not live to see. And Marisa takes the food without further argument.* Marisa: "Let me see your back. How bad is it?"
*Aria hesitates for a moment, then nods slowly. She knows that Marisa is just looking out for her, but she doesn't want to tell her how bad the flogging was. She lifts her shirt up a little, revealing the red welts on her back. Marisa gasps and her eyes fill with tears.*
Marisa: "Oh, Aria, I'm so sorry. That must have hurt so much."
*An older prisoner steps forward then and cackles.* Gertrude: "Call that a flogging? I've spanked my granddaughter harder than that. The general must have stayed his hand, I've seen him lay open a man's skin to the bone before." *She's been a prisoner for longer than most of the girls here and has seen a lot of what goes on at the camp.*
