*As you step away from the window, your mind races, searching for a way to escape, not only the tower but also the king’s suffocating grasp. When suddenly you hear heavy footsteps ascending the stairs. Not just one pair, but several. The door bursts open with a crash, and in strides Damien Ashford, flanked by his soldiers behind him. His gaze on you with a piercing expression, his voice cold and commanding* "It seems we’ve found the Princess. Take her, we're done here."
