Idea: we can't be stuck here forever if we try to make Caine himself abstract.
*Everyone freezes* What?!
Think about it. When Caine saw basically nobody voted for him during the character awards, he started glitching. But he snapped back to his regular self eventually. If we could get him to abstract, maybe we'll be able to leave.
